The Bakery
For over 30 years, Armida Scopazzi has been creating innovative and delicious seasonal cuisine. She was chef/owner of a successful restaurant in San Rafael for 10 years. She has been selling cookies at the Wednesday Farmers Markets for 4 years and in March 2016 she began baking cheesecake and chocolate mousse torte for the wholesale market.
I have always loved the smells, sounds, textures and tastes of cooking. The joy I experience when creating food is matched only by the pleasure I find when I see people enjoying my creations.

My family taught me that food brings people together and as the years have passed I have grown to appreciate the importance of meals in keeping families and communities together.

I was fortunate enough to have owned a restaurant that provided a place for the community to gather and enjoy the bounty of this special place. When it was lost, I found I missed being a part
of the food community. I was purchasing local, organic ingredients before it was the hip thing to do. The farmers markets are an important part of our communities and they are finally being
appreciated for being an essential part of our food chain.

I feel blessed to be able to work with food and share what I love doing with the community around me.

Quite simply, I love cooking.
